This is a vibing spot! The staff are pleasant, friendly and on the ball. The happy hour is impressive. The drinks are great, and the atmosphere is fresh for DC (definitely more of a NY vibe). I thoroughly enjoyed this spot. If you haven’t checked them out, do it! Low-key, cool and stylish.

The owner is very friendly and the bartenders try their best to get everyone served as quickly as possible. The burgers are excellent and the secret sauce that comes with the fries is indescribably addicting. The wings are perfectly crispy with a very solid, medium level buffalo sauce. The happy hour specials are affordable compared to some of the other restaurants on U street. This is easily my favorite DIVE bar/restaurant in DC.
Shocked to see that Desperados is a cocktail bar now! Menu cocktails are great, bar is beautiful, bartenders are friendly and know their stuff. William took good care of me and made some great custom cocktails too!
Loved the atmosphere! Cozier and quieter than I expected and I liked the music. Fries were good. Burgers were good- not exactly memorable, but reasonably priced!
Such a great hole in the wall! We had a great time at their happy hour good margaritas for 5! Till 7 pm as well every day! The appetizers are standard bar food but they have a specialty burger list if you’re hungrier. If you’re looking for a spot to go before you go out here you go!
Amazing . The food was amazing ,the service was excellent . Overall this one of the best top restaurants I have ever been to . Everything about this place will have you speechless. Will be back again . They are super friendly and their food speaks for them. Just go there and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Bartender sorry I forgot his name but go see him . The drinks are to die for .
